Yesterday, students K-2 and 3-5 had the opportunity to see the ROAR show. Al, the Respect Guy, presented a fun, interactive show to demonstrate the importance of respect and inclusivity using stories, magic tricks, and of course laughter. Al came all the way from Maui, Hawaii to help the students really learn about respect, anti-bullying, and what inclusivity means. Some students were even chosen from the audience to help Al out with some of his magic tricks. His message is extremely important, and opens up for students to discuss what respect is with their fellow classmates and teachers in the future. Students really enjoyed the assembly; their laughter rang throughout the gymnasium. Thank you Al, for this wonderful presentation! Check out the highlights below.
