Friday, December 13: 50th Anniversary of the Hinchey Gym – This coming season the Hinchey Gymnasium will be turning 50 years old. We will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its opening on Friday, December 13, 2024 at our first home game of the season. We are inviting all of the players from both the boys and girls basketball teams and cheerleaders from that time (1974-75). We plan on acknowledging them prior to the start of the boys varsity game. We hope the community turns out on December 13 to both support the current team along with acknowledging the past. Thank you to the West Rutland Alumni Association for spearheading this event.
